Dr. Brian Turnquist

Dr. Brian Turnquist is a native of Des Moines, and  a graduate of Urbandale High School. He majored in Psychology at the University of Iowa, prior to entering dental school at the University of Iowa School of Dentistry.

Upon completion of dental school, Dr. Turnquist entered into a one year general practice residency, followed by a two year prosthodontic residency at the Kansas City Veterans Administration Medical Center. He has been providing prosthodontic care in Des Moines since 1993. In 1998 he was joined in practice by Dr. Jeffrey Hagan. Together they opened their clinic Premier Prosthodontics in the summer of 2007.

Dr. Turnquist is a member of the American Dental Association, American College of Prosthodontics, Iowa Dental Association,  Des Moines District Dental Society and G.V. Black Study Group.

Dr. Turnquist resides in Urbandale with his wife, Danielle, and their 3 children. In his spare time he enjoys golfing, boating and other outdoor activities. Dr. Turnquist is very active in the community, serving on the Urbandale Parks and Recreation Commission and helping to provide dental care to underprivileged Iowans through the United Way’s Des Moines Health Center.
