About Prosthodontics
The practice of Prosthodontics is the only specialty recognized by the American Dental Association for cosmetic and restorative dentistry. This certification requires an additional 2 to 3 year residency, above and beyond dental school. The benefits of Prosthodontic treatment can lead to an improved cosmetic appearance, and an increased self confidence as well as an improvement in chewing ability.
